Extra-Curricular Fundraiser- All School
Dear Student and Families of VCS,
We are officially kicking off the 2011-2012 Extra Curricular Fundraiser. Please be ready to step out and ask your family, friends, colleges, local businesses and church members to help support Valley Christian School. In the past each different group would work to raise funds, this year we are going to raise money as a community for all the various programs of VCS. We will be raising funds for PTF Events and programs, Sports including new equipment and uniforms, Junior/Senior Banquet, Mission Club, Engineering Club, Home School Program, Government Trip, ASB, Drama, Christmas Banquet, Elementary Supplies and Worship. This fundraiser will benefit the whole school and help create community awareness throughout our local community with the items we are selling. We need to raise $37,219 to support each of these programs at 100% of the funds they have requested. We have put together three different unique fundraisers to meet these goals, we tried to pick items that families would enjoy and that would speak to the mission of VCS.

Breaking Bread Together Monthly Devotional– 10 months of Butter Braid Pastries with a devotional created by VCS. Cost is $200 for this 10 month program that will allow time together to enjoy a scrumptious surprise Butter Braid pastry of the month while diving into a devotional. If our school sells 200 monthly club memberships we will raise over $27,000. All order forms will need to be turned in by September 30th.

alley Christian Discount Card– Who likes to save money?? Valley Christian is offering a $20 discount card to over 20 local businesses that can be used daily to save money for everyone that purchases this money saving card. These cards make great gifts for everyone that likes to save money. We have 800 cards to sell which will raise $12,400 for our student programs. Each student will bring home one discount card to show to potential buyers, it is your or someone else’s for only $20. If the card is not returned by September 30th each student account will be charged $20. All order forms will need to be turned in by October 7th, 2011.

Forza Coffee- Valley Christian School is teaming up with Forza Coffee to offer award
winning coffee to raise funds for Valley Christian School. Everyone knows someone who loves coffee or buys coffee. Forza Coffee is teaming up with VCS to provide a way to partner with local families, businesses and churches to purchase award winning coffee online! The coffee is offered for $11.95, for regular and $12.95 for decaf, the same price you would find in their stores. Valley Christian School’s Goal is hoping to sell 3,000 lbs of coffee This will raise $9,000 for our school. Please make a difference by purchasing award winning coffee. Coffee making a difference for students! All order forms will need to be turned in by October 21st
A $100 gift card for the family that raises the most profit for VCS and two $50 gift cards for the two families that are runner-ups. For the class that brings in the most money there will be a pizza party, And if the whole school surpasses the goal we will have an all school event to celebrate. Guaranteed to be great food and fun for all!
