Kindergarten Schedule

PART TIME:  at least 2.5 days per week incorporating half day on Wednesday and one full day on Thursday.  You can pick from Monday, Tuesday, or Friday for your remaining time needed.

FULL TIME:   Monday—Friday: 8:30am—3:00pm

Family specific scheduling needs are welcomed and considered.  Due to our chapel schedule, we require at least a half day on Wednesdays so your child can participate in our chapel service weekly.  We also require that each kindergartener be scheduled all day on Thursdays for class participation projects.

Kindergarten Readiness

Every enrolled kindergartener at VCS will be evaluated through the Kindergarten Readiness Test administered by the kindergarten staff.  Taking approximately 40 minutes, the test draws a sampling in areas such as fine and gross motor skills, numbers, concepts, and social and personal maturity.
